Go to http://cfmic.net.
Go to Download page.
Contact Carolina Farmers Mutual for Username and Password. Enter those to proceed.
Double click on the Carolina FM Rating link.
Choose Open With WinZip and Click on Ok to open the CarolinaRating.zip file. Please do not select Cancel.
In the Zip file, scroll down and double-click first setup file. Your system may ask to open in a temporary file. Accede to this and Publisher Cannot Be Verified message.
Choose Next in the Carolina Rating Welcome window.
The Selection Installation Folder screen defaults to your local C: drive. Change the drive letter to your network drive to install/connect to your server. Network drive info can be found at My Computer. Consult your network administrator for help. Choose Next to continue.
Installation will occur. Choose Close at Installation Complete screen. Close the internet browser.
Close the Zip file. A new Carolina FM Rating icon should appear on your desktop.
Run previous verson of Carolina Rating. Choose Setup and Backup from the menu.
In Backup choose Select Destination. The software defaults to your floppy disk A: drive. You may change the destination. Beforehand, it is a good idea to create a Backup folder on your local C: drive or network drive. Access that folder here. Confirm by choosing Select.
Choose Begin and the backup will occur. Exit the previous version.
Run new version of Carolina Rating. Choose Setup and Restore from the menu.
In Restore choose Select Location. Insert backup floppy or browse to the backup folder. Choose Select to confirm. Choose Begin and the restore will occur.
On your Desktop choose Start, Control Panel and Add or Remove Programs.
Scroll down and select previous version of Carolina FM Rating. Choose Remove.
